Gary Terzano, who knew Daniel Jacobus, sent me this information on him in the Summer of 2009:
 
Daniel Jacobus graduated from Hackensack High School in 1966 and served in the Army from 1970 to 1972. Daniel Jacobus trained in Artillery state side and was shipped out to Okinawa, where he became a photographer and illustrator for the Army newspaper.

He persued a career in Art in college and has been a professional artist
for over 40 years.
